Who should get hidden braces?
As with any other form of orthodontic treatment, lingual braces aren't suitable for everyone. Children aren't usually candidates because smaller primary teeth don't accommodate the braces. Lingual braces are the ideal solution for Teen Braces and Adult Braces to straighten teeth without the appearance of braces.
As long as your case is suitable, WIN Hidden Braces can treat a variety of issues such as overbites, underbites, crossbites, teeth with gaps, overcrowded teeth, crooked teeth and symptoms of sleep apnea. People with excessive or large overbites are not candidates for lingual braces.
WIN Hidden Braces
The WIN Appliance is the next generation of lingual technology featuring invisible braces that are fixed to the inside of the teeth. The extremely flat, tongue-friendly high-tech design guarantees improved comfort for patients. This means you cannot see them when you're smiling and talking with others making them the only truly invisible option for straightening teeth. Unlike invisible aligners and Invisalign, they don’t need to be removed when eating or drinking.
WIN Hidden Braces work the same way traditional braces do and use gentle yet continuous pressure on the teeth to shift them into the prescribed position. Results are extremely effective without being detectable, making them a great discreet alternative to other orthodontic treatments.
Treatment time varies for each patient and the amount of work required to align the teeth. On average treatment can take takes between 12 to 24 months although many patients will see visible results in a short period. Due to the advanced technology in the customised brackets, precise bracket placement and precision bent wires, your teeth will move in the most efficient manner possible.
You will need to visit the clinic every 6 to 8 weeks to check your progress and maintain your brace. New wires will be fitted to the brackets to gently move your teeth into position.
